Help & Coverage
What works, what can fail, and what to expect when you add podcasts.
What SpacePod can import
SpacePod works best with public podcasts that publish an RSS feed with audio files. You can search by show name, paste a Spotify or Apple Podcasts link, or paste an RSS feed directly.

Why some shows are not addable yet
Some podcasts are Spotify-only, private, paywalled, or published without a public audio URL. Spotify's API gives metadata, not arbitrary episode audio files, so SpacePod cannot always transcribe those shows safely. When that happens, paste the show's RSS link if you have it, or send a missing-podcast request from the dashboard.
How long transcription takes
After you add a show, SpacePod queues recent episodes for transcription. Short episodes may be ready in a few minutes; long back catalogues can take longer. Episodes already seen by another SpacePod user may appear faster because shared transcript caching avoids duplicate transcription.
What answers are based on
Answers are generated from transcript excerpts in your library, with citations back to shows and episodes. SpacePod should not pretend a podcast said something unless the transcript supports it. If an answer is thin, ask a sharper follow-up or add more relevant episodes.
What paid includes
The free plan includes 10 episodes total. Founding members get 50 new episodes every month, while the whole archive they have already imported stays searchable. Billing and cancellation are handled by Stripe from inside the dashboard.
